Level II builds on your foundational equity work by deepening your understanding of systemic and structural racism in schools. Participants explore the roles of actor, ally, accomplice, and co-conspirator in equity work, examine the school-to-prison pipeline, and analyze historical practices such as redlining and resegregation. The curriculum guides educators through equitable best practices, courageous conversations, and stakeholder engagement strategies. Participants identify equity team members and community partners, conduct opportunity audits, and develop a concrete action plan for advancing racial and social justice within their schools and districts. Level II is delivered through a blended, in-person learning format. You must have completed Level I prior to registering for Level II. No exceptions. For more information check out our case study.
