New York Times Bestseller!

For the first time, global icon Liza Minnelli shares her inspiring story: stepping out from the long shadow of a mega-star mother and legendary film director father, fighting a lifetime battle with addiction, and emerging from it all to become a once-in-a-lifetime artist.

Kids, Wait Till You Hear This! is the autobiography of the youngest EGOT winner Liza Minnelli. This fascinating, untold story reveals the intimate truth of the only child born to Hollywood legends Vincente Minnelli and Judy Garland. For the first time, here is Liza up close: Raw, strong, hilarious and heartbreaking.

Virtual Book Study – Shared Inquiry, Shared Responsibility

The WEA Academy virtual book studies are a fully collaborative learning experiences where every member plays an equal and active role in shaping our conversations. There is no designated leader guiding the discussion — instead, we each come to the table as both learner and facilitator, ready to contribute our perspectives, questions, and insights.

To make our time together rich and meaningful, all members are expected to arrive at each session having completed the assigned reading and prepared with the following:

  • A question worth sitting with — something the text raised for you that you genuinely want to explore with the group
  • A passage that struck you — a line, idea, or moment you'd like to bring forward for collective reflection
  • A connection or challenge — how the reading connects to your own experience, practice, or thinking, or where you found yourself pushing back
  • An open mind — a willingness to have your thinking shifted by what others bring

Our sessions thrive only when everyone shows up prepared and engaged. Silence is welcome for reflection, but passive attendance is not — this is a space built on the expectation that all voices matter and all voices will be heard.

Come ready to listen deeply, speak honestly, and think together.

Any refund of graduate credit costs paid to an affiliated university will be solely at the discretion of that university, and WEA Academy bears no responsibility for those fees.

If WEA Academy cancels a course for any reason, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of all fees paid to WEA Academy for that course. WEA Academy will notify affected participants as promptly as possible.

6. Academic Integrity & Plagiarism

WEA Academy maintains high academic standards and requires that all work submitted to instructors — including assignments, projects, reports, papers, online forum posts, examinations, and any other coursework — represent the student's own original work.

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. For purposes of this agreement, plagiarism includes, but is not limited to: submitting another person's work as your own, improper or missing citation of sources, and self-plagiarism (resubmitting previously submitted work without instructor approval).

Regarding artificial intelligence (AI): WEA Academy recognizes that AI tools are an evolving part of the educational landscape, and students are encouraged to develop familiarity with AI as a supplementary research and brainstorming aid, provided its use is transparent and does not replace the student's own original thinking and analysis. Submitting AI-generated content as your own work — without explicit prior instructor approval and proper attribution — constitutes academic dishonesty and will be treated as plagiarism under this policy. Students are encouraged to consult their instructor at the outset of any course for specific guidance on the appropriate and ethical use of AI tools within that course's requirements.

Students suspected of plagiarism will be notified in writing and provided an opportunity to respond before any final determination is made. Confirmed plagiarism may result in expulsion from the WEA Academy course and forfeiture of all fees paid for that course.

Any dispute arising under or related to this agreement that cannot be resolved informally shall first be submitted to non-binding mediation before either party pursues other legal remedies. Nothing herein shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
